Overview

The ViewSonic CDEG3 Series is an OS-free commercial display designed for secure, round-the-clock operation in mission-critical environments across corporate, government, healthcare, and higher education sectors. By eliminating pre-installed apps and background services, it reduces software attack surface while supporting fast boot times and simplified IT management. With native 4K UHDCloseUltra High Definition (UHD) is the resolution 3840x2160 pixels. What this means is that there are more pixels per inch (PPI) in a UHD display than a FHD (Full High Definition 1920x1080) display. This gives a higher resolution display resolution in both landscape and portrait orientation, 500-nit brightness, and built-in USB media playback, this secure signage solution ensures clear visibility for announcements and digital displays in high-traffic environments. It also features extended connectivity options including USB-C, HDMI 2.1, LAN, and RS-232, making it well-suited for BYOD meetings and video conferencing. To further streamline remote device management, the commercial-grade display integrates with leading ProAV control systems. Certified EPEAT® Gold, CDEG3 Series digital displays offer a low-maintenance, sustainable solution that balances security, performance, and operational efficiency for any mission-critical space.

Purpose-Built for Security-Sensitive Environments
The CDEG3 Series enhances security by adopting an OS-free architecture with no pre-installed apps, background services, or third-party systems. This design reduces software attack surface and simplifies long-term device management for corporate offices, government institutions, hospitals, and other sensitive environments.

Fast Cold Boot for Seamless Communication
With cold boot in under 8 seconds*, the CDEG3 Series eliminates delays at the start of meetings, presentations, and scheduled signage. This commercial-grade display ensures content appears exactly when it’s needed, operating 24/7 in corporate, retail, and education environments where every second counts.*Cold boot under 8 seconds supported via HDMI 2 and 3 only.

Universal Connectivity for BYOD Setups
This presentation display supports BYOD in classrooms and meeting rooms with USB-C (DP1.2, HDCP) and HDMI 2.1 ports, allowing both guest and internal users to connect personal devices and share content securely without accessing the internal network.

Landscape and Portrait Orientation
Supporting both landscape and portrait modes, this commercial-grade display adapts to a wide range of installation needs, from digital menu boards to meeting room signage, and school displays.

Bright, Clear Images
With 4K UHDCloseUltra High Definition (UHD) is the resolution 3840x2160 pixels. What this means is that there are more pixels per inch (PPI) in a UHD display than a FHD (Full High Definition 1920x1080) display. This gives a higher resolution display resolution and 500 nits of brightness, the CDEG3 Series delivers vivid, detailed images even in well-lit environments. Ideal for meeting rooms and public displays, it ensures content remains clear, engaging, and easy to read.

Built for a Lower Environmental Impact?
Designed with sustainability in mind, the CDEG3 Series is the first large format display to earn EPEAT Gold certification. Combined with ENERGY STAR compliance, it offers businesses, schools, and institutions an energy-efficient solution that reduces environmental impact while maintaining high performance.
